Chemberly Cummings grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and has now moved to Illinois, where she is looking for ways to contribute to the community. Currently, she is a member of the normal city council. Being the first Black woman in that position has left her with a lot of responsibility. Moreover, she is a political scientist. Cooking is one of her greatest passions. As a result of her love of cooking, she considers it one of her love languages. Her passion is to create dishes and cook for people.

Joanne Sorenson founded the nonprofit organization In Our Hands in 2016 after leaving the corporate world. Groups looking to plan trips should note that she hopes to assist individuals and groups by finding places and projects that they are passionate about in order to serve.
